Eid Al Etihad commemorates the unification of the seven emirates on December 2, 1971, marking 53 years of the UAE’s formation.

Paid Holidays Across Dubai

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) earlier confirmed December 2 and 3 as paid holidays for both public and private sector employees. With the Saturday-Sunday weekend, this creates a four-day long weekend, offering residents ample time to enjoy the festivities across Dubai and beyond.

Grand Celebrations in Al Ain

The official Eid Al Etihad ceremony, which brings together the UAE’s Rulers and leaders, will take place in the stunning natural landscapes of Al Ain. Dubai residents can expect vibrant celebrations across the emirate, including fireworks, cultural displays, and family-friendly activities, ensuring the festive spirit is felt throughout the city.
