Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, arrived in the UAE on a private visit, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Upon arrival, he was warmly received by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the airport. In honour of the Saudi Crown Prince, President Sheikh Mohamed hosted a private dinner, reinforcing the deep-rooted friendship between the two nations.

Congratulatory Message on UAE’s 53rd National Day

During his visit, Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated the UAE on its 53rd National Day (Eid Al Ittihad), extending his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Emirates and its people.

Regional Stability and Peace Talks

The discussions between the two leaders covered the latest developments in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of joint Arab action to enhance regional stability. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to pursuing a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace, grounded in the two-state solution framework for resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

A Significant Visit After Three Years

This marks the first visit of Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the UAE in three years. His last visit was in 2021, when he was received by Sheikh Mohamed, then the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, for a two-day state visit in Abu Dhabi.

Earlier this year, the Saudi Crown Prince invited President Sheikh Mohamed to attend the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, reflecting the enduring partnership between the two countries.

Shared Vision of Prosperity

The UAE and Saudi Arabia continue to share strong bonds of friendship and a common vision for regional development and prosperity. In September 2024, both President Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening this bilateral relationship, particularly on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

This visit is another milestone in the UAE-Saudi alliance, showcasing their shared dedication to regional cooperation, economic growth, and socio-political stability in the Gulf region.
