Dubai Partners with Elon Musk for ‘The Loop’ to Enhance City Connectivity
Dubai is set to embark on an ambitious transportation project aimed at connecting its most densely populated areas, with the emirate partnering with American billionaire Elon Musk.
The announcement of The Loop was made on Day 3 of the World Government Summit 2025 during a virtual session featuring Musk and Omar Al Olama, UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.
This collaboration aligns with Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in smart mobility, sustainable transport, and futuristic urban planning, reinforcing its position as a hub for technological innovation and next-generation infrastructure.
