The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will feature a $6.9 million prize pool, marking a 53% increase from 2017, when Pakistan won the title at The Oval.
Prize Money Breakdown for Champions Trophy 2025
- Winners: $2.24 million and the Champions Trophy, with the final scheduled for March 9
- Runners-up: $1.12 million
- Losing Semi-finalists: $560,000 each
- Each Group Stage Win: $34,000
- 5th & 6th Place Teams: $350,000 each
- 7th & 8th Place Teams: $140,000 each
- All participating teams will receive $125,000
Dubai to Host Key Matches for India in Champions Trophy 2025
The tournament will begin on February 19 in Karachi, where Pakistan will face New Zealand. However, India’s matches will be played in Dubai as the team is not permitted to travel to Pakistan.
India’s Group Stage Matches in Dubai:
- February 20: India vs Bangladesh
- February 23: India vs Pakistan
- March 2: India vs New Zealand
If India qualifies for the semi-finals, the match will also be played in Dubai on March 4.
ICC Tournament Returns to Pakistan After 28 Years
