As the eagerly awaited iPhone 16 approaches its September 20 launch, retailers across the UAE are gearing up with enticing trade-in schemes for residents. Customers can receive up to 70% of their iPhone’s value, along with additional bonuses of up to Dh100 for older model trade-ins, making it more affordable to upgrade to the iPhone 16.
Apple also unveiled its latest product lineup at the ‘Glowtime’ event on September 9, which includes the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 2, AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 2, and AirPods Max.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 begin on Friday, September 13, with deliveries for all products set to start on September 20. Retailers like Jumbo Electronics and Eros Group are already seeing high demand and bracing for a surge in sales.
Vikas Chadha, CEO of Jumbo Electronics, expressed excitement about the new iPhone release. “Apple’s consistent innovation continues to captivate a loyal customer base,” said Chadha. “With bold new colors, enhanced AI features, and a larger screen, Apple has truly enhanced the user experience.”
### Assured Buyback and Trade-In Programs
To cater to the UAE’s tech-savvy market, Jumbo Electronics has introduced two key programs: the Assured Buyback Programme and a Trade-In Programme. The Assured Buyback Programme offers up to 70% of the iPhone’s value if exchanged within the first year, decreasing in value over time. “This ensures customers get the best possible return when upgrading their devices,” Chadha added.
Additionally, the trade-in program allows customers to swap older iPhones or Android smartphones for the new iPhone 16, with an extra Dh100 offered for iPhone 15, 14, and 13 trade-ins during September. These programs make upgrades more affordable, with Chadha emphasizing that they help ensure consumers receive the best value when upgrading.
Rajat Asthana, COO of Eros Group, shared his excitement about the iPhone 16 launch. “The new iPhone release is a great boost for a slow market, aligning perfectly with the high-sales holiday season,” Asthana said.
### Service and Support
Eros Group is offering additional services, including trade-in options, flexible financing plans, and Apple Care bundle packages. “We want to provide more value to consumers,” Asthana explained. “With expert sales and service support, we ensure that customers feel confident in their purchases.”
Both Jumbo Electronics and Eros Group are positioning themselves to capture consumer interest in upgrading to the iPhone 16. By focusing on maximizing value through trade-in offers, buyback programs, and dedicated customer support, they aim to make the transition to Apple’s latest flagship device as seamless and affordable as possible for UAE residents.
