Dubai Run Challenge: Road Closures and Alternative Routes Announced by RTA

As the highly anticipated Dubai Run Challenge approaches on Sunday, November 24, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a series of temporary road closures to facilitate the event. These closures will be in effect from 3:30 AM to 10:30 AM on race day.


Road Closures During Dubai Run Challenge

The following roads will be closed to motorists during the event:

  • Sheikh Zayed Road: Between the Trade Centre Roundabout and the second bridge.
  • Al Sukook Street: Between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Boursa Street.
  • Lower Financial Centre Road: Between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.
  • One-way from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.

Alternative Routes for Motorists

To ease traffic flow, the RTA has suggested the following alternative roads for motorists during the closure period:

  • Financial Centre Road (Upper Level)
  • Zaabeel Palace Street
  • Al Mustaqbal Road
  • Al Wasl Road
  • Al Khail Road
  • Al Badaa Street
