Dubai Safari Park is set to launch its sixth season on October 1, as announced by Dubai Municipality. The park has undergone extensive upgrades during the summer, enhancing its offerings for visitors.
More details about the new experiences and attractions will be revealed in the coming weeks, according to the municipality.
Ahmad Al Zarouni, Director of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities at Dubai Municipality, stated, “The opening of the new season will be a significant milestone in Dubai’s efforts to boost tourism, offering visitors a unique wildlife experience unlike any other in the region.”
Guests can explore Dubai Safari Park either on foot or via a shuttle train that connects six distinct zones, each offering up-close encounters with various wildlife species. These zones also feature educational and interactive activities that emphasize animal welfare and the park’s conservation initiatives. Returning this season are popular live presentations by expert zoologists, providing fascinating insights into the animal kingdom.
“We take pride in transforming the way people experience wildlife in Dubai, creating a fun, educational, and respectful environment where guests of all ages can connect with animals,” Al Zarouni added.
Dubai Safari Park is home to more than 3,000 animals, including 78 species of mammals, 50 species of reptiles, and 111 varieties of birds.
In addition to Dubai Safari Park, another major attraction in Dubai is preparing for its new season. Global Village has announced that its 29th season will start on October 16 and run until May 11, 2025.
Like many other popular attractions in Dubai, including Al Wasl Plaza, Expo City Dubai, and Dubai Miracle Garden, Global Village remains closed during the summer.
As September marks the end of summer in Dubai, temperatures are expected to gradually cool down. The autumn equinox on September 23 will signal the transition, with nearly equal daylight and nightfall as the Sun aligns with the equator. This shift ushers in the refreshing cooler months, and other popular destinations in Dubai are preparing to welcome visitors back.
