Dubai’s Global Village Gears Up for Season 29 with Exciting New Attractions
As Dubai’s iconic Global Village prepares to open its doors for Season 29 on October 16, visitors can expect a thrilling array of new experiences and attractions, making it a must-visit destination for both long-time residents and first-time tourists. This globally renowned Dubai attraction promises exciting updates across entertainment, dining, shopping, and much more.
Ticket Prices for Global Village 2024
To enhance visitor convenience, tickets for this season are available for pre-booking through the official Global Village Dubai website, mobile app, and at the gates once the venue opens. Here’s the breakdown of ticket prices:
- Weekday tickets (valid Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays) are priced at Dh25.
- Any-day tickets cost Dh30, offering flexibility to visitors.
- Entry is free for children aged 3 and below, seniors over 65 years, and people of determination.
Last season’s online ticket prices were slightly lower, with weekday tickets available for Dh22.50 and any-day passes for Dh27.
VIP experiences are also returning with special limited edition packages available for pre-booking from September 24.
- Mega Gold Pack (Dh4,745): Includes the Global Village Gold VIP package and Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Plus Annual Pass.
- Mega Silver Pack (Dh3,245): Includes the Global Village Silver VIP package and Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Annual Pass.
These exclusive packs come with unlimited access to all Dubai Parks and Resorts attractions, plus special discounts at Lapita Hotel, LEGOLAND Hotel, and more.
For those looking for classic VIP experiences, the Diamond VIP Pack is priced at Dh7,350, while the Platinum Pack costs Dh3,100. The Gold and Silver Packs are priced at Dh2,350 and Dh1,750, respectively.
Global Village Operating Hours
On the grand opening day, Global Village will be open from 6 PM to midnight. For the rest of the season, the opening hours are as follows:
- Sunday to Wednesday: 4 PM to 12 AM
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and public holidays: 4 PM to 1 AM
Dubai’s iconic Global Village fireworks display will light up the skies every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM, adding to the festive atmosphere.
New Attractions at Global Village Season 29
This season introduces several new attractions and reimagined spaces to enhance the visitor experience. Highlights include:
- Expanded Railway Market, Floating Market, and Fiesta Street.
- New green promenades with ample seating for families and friends.
- A brand-new Restaurant Plaza, featuring over 250 global cuisines for food lovers, located beside the Carnaval fun-fair area.
- Premier dining by Dragon Lake and redesigned kiosks along Fiesta Street will cater to diverse culinary tastes, while traditional bites are available at the revamped Railway and Floating Markets.
Global Village will also debut three new cultural pavilions, bringing the total to 30. These new additions include Jordan, Iraq, and a combined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh pavilion. Visitors can explore over 3,500 shopping outlets this season, offering a unique mix of global products and souvenirs.
A stunning 3D projection inside the exit dome at the Gate of the World will be a visual highlight this year, showcasing Dubai’s creativity and flair for entertainment.
For thrill-seekers, over 200 entertainment attractions await, including new rides and games. Noteworthy additions include Secrets of the Lost City, a treasure hunt and mystery-solving adventure designed for guests aged 10 and up, and Exo City Planet, featuring space exploration and adrenaline-pumping experiences.
