Indian doctors begin 24-hour strike to protest brutal sexual assault of medic

A shipment of cancer medications triggered a radioactive material alarm in the cargo area of Lucknow’s international airport, but it was later deemed safe by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), a senior airport official said on Saturday.

According to an Adani Group statement, operations at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, which is managed by the Adani Group, have continued without disruption.

“A shipment containing cancer medications set off a radioactive material alarm in the cargo area of Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow. The National Disaster Response Force, called in to investigate, has confirmed the shipment is safe,” the statement, signed by the airport’s Chief Operating Officer, read.

“There were no casualties as reported in the media, and there was no threat to life or injury. Airport operations remain smooth and unaffected,” the statement added.
