One of the most popular destinations for travelers departing from the UAE has introduced a series of visa changes that will make visiting even easier.
In anticipation of its Independence Day, Pakistan unveiled a new visa policy aimed at boosting tourism and attracting foreign investment.
These immediate changes have significantly streamlined the Pakistan visa process.
The government of the South Asian nation announced that citizens from 126 countries will no longer need to pay any fees when applying for a visa.
By applying online, travelers can now receive their visa within 10 minutes of submitting an application, which includes just 30 questions.
For residents of Gulf Cooperation Council countries—including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia—the news is even better, as they can now obtain a visa-on-arrival when visiting Pakistan.
With a large expatriate community in the UAE, including 2.09 million Pakistanis who make up 16.72 percent of the total population, these changes are particularly significant.
