The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a red alert for dense fog in Dubai and across the UAE, warning motorists of poor visibility on Saturday morning.

The NCM has cautioned residents about deteriorating horizontal visibility, which could drop significantly in coastal and internal areas until 9 AM. In response, Abu Dhabi Police has urged drivers to exercise caution and follow updated speed limits displayed on electronic road signs.

A cooler weekend is expected across the UAE, with temperatures gradually dropping on Saturday.
