Its 492-foot height makes it one of the best vantage points in the city, offering breathtaking views of both old and new Dubai. With 15,000 square meters of gold cladding that features the ring design from the Expo 2020 Dubai logo, it is the largest picture frame on the planet and holds the record for the world’s largest frame. The Dubai Frame attracted over 1 million visitors in its first year of operation.
This iconic frame in Dubai was designed by Fernando Donis, who submitted the winning design to the ThyssenKrupp Elevator International Award, triumphing over 926 other proposals. The Frame was constructed with 9,900 cubic meters of reinforced concrete, 2,000 tons of steel, and 2,900 square meters of laminated glass. This architectural masterpiece stands as a cultural landmark in the UAE.

After touring Old Dubai, you’ll ride the express lift, which takes only 47 seconds to reach the Sky Deck, representing Present Dubai. Here, you can enjoy a 360-degree uninterrupted view of both Old Dubai, with its residential areas, and New Dubai, featuring the towering skyscrapers of the iconic Burj Khalifa in Downtown and the apartments in Business Bay. You’ll also have the opportunity to walk on the famous transparent glass floor. At this level, interactive screens allow you to identify the buildings visible from the Sky Deck and take a selfie that will be featured on the ‘Dubai Moments Wall’ in this Dubai attraction.
